Families in London and surrounding area are in for a treat this Friday at the Chase for the Championship season opener at Delaware Speedway. In celebration of the speedway’s new Family Fun Pricing, which runs all summer, the track is distributing thousands of $10-off coupons throughout the region.
The special offer highlights the speedway’s new family fun admission pricing which provides entry to the races for half the cost a family might spend at the movies. It includes two adults and up to four kids age 16 and under getting into the races for just $32 taxes included. With the coupon, those passes will be available $10 cheaper than normal, a very special deal this Friday.
“For families who have never been to the track before this is our personal invitation for you to join us,” explained track announcer John Houghton. “Our drivers put on spectacular competition that has to be seen to be believed. The coupon program gives a great chance for families to come and experience the thrill of live racing close to home”.
The coupon distribution is one of the largest in recent memory for the historic track. Many coupons will arrive in the doors of households in London this week and will also be available in the Thursday sports section of the London Free Press.
The racing lineup on Friday is a great one with the fastest series at the track, the FT Garage Late Models, headlining the racing card. Also running will be the new-look Coca-Cola Super Stocks and GAW Recycling Enduro 35-Lap Challenge. Spectator gates open at 6:00 pm, racing will start at 8:00 pm. The track’s famous toonie hot dog deal will also be available from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Families attending the races are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to best enjoy the view from the spectator hill overlooking the racetrack. Has anyone seen the coupon that was supposed to be in the LFP....I've looked twice thru each section and nothing. If you've seen it, please say which section and page. 
mine came with all the sales flyers. Wasn't actually in the paer itself.
I think it was suppose to be in the sports section also they mailed out 120,000 coupons apparently I did not get one in the mail either My neighborhood must not be good enough LoL

There was a slip in scheduling with the London Free Press, the coupon will run tomorrow morning in that paper.
For the 120,000 -- they are being distributed alongside the London Community News and the bag of flyers (Canadian tire etc...). Some may not arrive until closer to the evening, depending on the route.
