Yeah they mark the occasion every year. Although they tend to do it quietly. I'm sure some folks would like to see the "Dave Lawrence Memorial Race" right there in the advertising, but really, its not necessary.

The guys who know what it's all about know already....and that's what's important.

They had a 28 lap feature last year if I recall correctly. Maybe they will do that again. Didn't they call it the first annual last year?

They did however when I asked for it to be done last year it was throught Jeff Wilcox so I didn't know if they were going to continue it.
I called the track Yesturday and asked John about it and he was non commital.
