I despise hockey. I hear it's kind of expensive these days anyway. :-
Be a lot cheaper and a lot less stress then bitching on here everyday. The rules don't change and. Used gear keeps you competitive.
every day? Damn, it's all a big blur, but from what I can see the last post I made before this thread was the beginning of November about Darryl's Grassroots racing show, and in the Mosport section about the upcoming Truck race. ::)
tiger dont listen...you keep complaining here love reading how delaware isnt perfect anymore...once it was the premier track...
Everyone has an opinion, and at best they never hit everyone the same way. At least the track is trying, and I'm pretty sure there's people volunteering their time to help turn things around. At least they are trying, and the track has some great points still.
1-It is a fairly fast track most of us like to race on, despite the crappy surface.
2-They are working on improvements over the last few years even with the terrible crowd turnout.
3-At least they are asking/showing their ideas to you, before they are set in stone.
I do agree, major part changes are an issue in terms of cash. Even though they are small, it does add up. But again, they are trying. I was hoping they would do it with some weight, or cheaper means for the slower/cost effective guys. But then again, nothing is set in stone. Trucks used to be a three to five thousand dollar unit, not anymore. Hopefully, they can reel it in to real world entry level.
I know Tigeraid personally, and he is a pretty good guy. I know he sounds negative, but he is on a budget. It just hurts when they have rule changes (major) three seasons in a row. I like to think I know most of the truck guys a little bit, and they all love the class. There are more people willing to race this class, if Delly can put it together. It just needs to be the right mix, of investment to fun factor.
