Delly ought to schedule an end of the season, "no rules- run what u brung" show.
Topless modifieds with great big side boards, Enduro cars with sprinter wings, late models with super fat gumball tires. If you can dream it and build it, then bring it.
Safety and wheelbase to keep out sprints and supermods would be the only considerations. Except for 4 and 6 cylinder cars -no wheelbase rule.
Time trial, heats, heat winners dash, and ABCD features.
This is basically how K-Zoo speedway runs their "Call of the wild" race.
How many teams would like to do a race like this at seasons end?
If they throw up some big money to win it could be HUGE. Lets say 10 grand 200 laps and lets see.... oh wait... the APC 200
The cars are somewhat split up so you do not get late models vs. enduro cars. Kalamazoo had over 300+ cars there last year for the super shoe nationals which is a run what you brung show and it was cold and rainy all weekend.
Make Roofs optional, and give a max board height for the cars.

It looks like I will be making the trip to Delaware just once this year. The first weekend in August to see the ISMA Supers.I se that the AVSS will not be returning. That series apperas to be on its last legs, unfortunately.I remember seeing them for the first time at Delaware in '05.It was a very cool show!
I'm open wheel,so the rest is,I'm sorry to say,a lot of grocery getter stuff I'm not very interested in.Hopefully we'll have more than 11 modifieds this year,as well.
Oh well...Lot's of open wheel at Ohsweken!!See you in August!!!
