The rules came out tonight for 2008....There's one thing that would have me concerned (aside from technical issues) but it's pretty much the same as last year...It looks like the CASCAR-LMs got yet another year's reprieve, but whether anyone bites or not is another thing....
Approved engines are:
Chevrolet 350/400 Limited Late Model Crate Engine Part # 88958604
Ford Part 351 Windsor Sealed Crate Engine Part # M-6007-Z351S (On engine location 4” Setback allowed)
Ford 347 Sealed Crate Engine Part # M-6007-D347SR (On engine location 4” Setback allowed)
Dodge 360 400hp Crate Engine Part # P5007958
Delaware doesn't allow the 400 fast burn that flamboro runs?
Good question. I know there's something in the works about LM rules integration between the two tracks, so I'd send them an e-mail and ask specifically about it...
Isn't one of those ford engines equivalent to the fast burn. If so then i don't understand why they would let you run engines that are way under powered.
Why not? If they're underpowered, they're certainly not going to hurt anything...
