They have a no engines till noon curfue on Sundays I beleive. At least as long as I can remember thats been the rule. There are some ways they can shorten the day up though. Lasts years 300 ran long for a number of reasons. The autograph session and the lineup / driver introduction took well over an hour. IMO they should make the last points night the week before or after, and run the 300 as an independent event.

Extended driver intros and autograph sessions are sacred cows that should be ground into hamburgers for once and for all.

ACTUALLY....the driver gets a full intro as he does his time trial....this can include the sponsors if he is held till the previous car is done ( that should be another 20 seconds)....that would add 13 minutes to the time trial, based on 40 cars, but save an hour of intros

Schelude looks good for this year but I see one problem is the APC300 Weekend
Sundays qualifying & race looks good but something seems missing the other 2 days.My opinion I donot think there is enough racing on Saturday start at 2 P.M. and from what there is everything could be done by 4 P.M. why not bring the thunder cars in for a race on this day this would get them ready for when they race at Delaware a week later. Also I do not know if they noticed (maybe did not no) but on the Sunday of the APC300 (Aug 31) the ISMA Supermodifieds are at Cayuga Speedway.Hopefully it does not affact the attendence of the race but there are a lot of ISMA fans in this part of the province.
