on the Inside Track Motorsports forum, Christian Genest from Montreal has posted a number of unique track photos from 1968. What year was the track reconfigured into its' present half mile????
Pictures of Earl Ross and Don Biederman made me appreciate what a huge leap the late models made in about 5 short years in appearance, tires, technology. Look at the pipe on Earl's roll cage and how far his head extends above the bars. Earl was using a "peanut wheel" (small skinny tire) on the left front also which was the norm at that time.
