Some exciting announcements have been made about this years events including the biggest line-up of events the speedway has ever produced from Monster Trucks to Modifieds.  This year the event has been expanded form two weekend to three and will get underway with the CFS Stock Car points championships and 4 Wheel Jamboree on the 24th.  Then on  Sunday,  the 25th it's the 2nd annual "Atlantic MONSTER Nationals" - Monster Truck event including the Atlantic Demolition Championships, Full contact Enduro Championship, and Burnouts plus some wild and wacky novelty racing as qualifiers for the big Demo.  MONSTER trucks competing include several of the worlds best such as Bounty Hunter, and Higher Education plus defending champs from last year Black Stallion (Oval Drags) and Crushstation (Freestyle and Wheelies).

On Oct 1st the celebration continues with the Atlantic Stock Car Championships, an event that has been the perennial favorite for more stock car competitors than any other Maritime event.  The days card will include Maritime Super Sportsman, Mini Stocks, Four Fun, and for the first time Bandolero cars.  Among other excitement surrounding the 1st is the announcement that Amherst native, Ryan Mackintosh who races in the Allison Legacy Series and recently tested in an ARCA class car in the Southern US has teamed up with Dave O'Blenis Racing of Boundry Creek to field Mackintosh's entry into the Championships.  Finally, on Oct 8th and 9th it's the grand finale with the Atlantic Pro Stock 150 and Street Stock 100 Championships (on the 8th) and an the 9th, Open Wheel 50 and for the first time, Late Model (ACT Type) Sportsman 100 with cars registered from Maine, Quebec, PEI and New Brunswick to compete in this first time event.
