The "Race of Champions" Event is apparently being rescheduled to Humberstone Speedway on August 23rd. Rusty and Kenny Wallace, Dave Blaney and Jimmy Spencer are the only names I've heard being mentioned as attending. The Humberstone site states that an announcement is coming. I was told that this was heard at Ohsweken and I also received a phone call today stating the same thing. I've also seen posts on Inside Track's forum confirming this.
Would not surprise me if this is the end of Cayuga Speedway.To bad to say but there is a time when good things come to an end.

August 23rd, 2009 Humberstone Speedway will be hosting Nascar Legend Rusty Wallace, Kenny Wallace, Dave Blaney and Jimmy Spencer.
Rusty will guest announce, while the others will be competing in the 358 Dirt Modified 50 Lap Race.
Autograph sessions, photo opportunites and contests will be going on.

Looks and sounds that way...they hosted some sort of private event this week in the early morning and the signs out front read as "Mazda" ... looked like some sort of film crew.
Anyone have the low down ?
i was at Humberstone Sunday, great show again as always, and was saying how the Nascar stars were suppose to be at Cayuga and was told by some fans there that the OPP and some other people havent been paid from the last event at Cayuga and that the place is done for the year now...anyone else heard that?
