If in fact the rumors are true, it's a sad day in racing for Canada to see such a great race facility close...once again...and how many more times ?

Like it or hate it...tracks of that size we don't need to loose in this Country and when the best of the worst start closing gates, its just a matter of time for the unlikely tracks to ever have the opportunity to survive.

Cayuga is a struggle to run, regardless of who owns it, but the important factor here is regardless of the previous ownership after Slack, which has been Racers, and now Investors, there seems to be no direct direction to success for this once beloved race track in Canada.

I heard today  ::)

That Cayuga are scrambbling to get sponsors because when the nas/cascar race fell threw so did alot of their sponsorships.

That Flamboro could be lucky to average 12 to 14 Late models a nite with their new payoff structure peeving off alot of them,  18 are registered, 2 are rookies.

That Burrows were looking at a hobby car or a body.

That someone is looking for a dodge 4 cylinder with a 5 speed to build, "cheap".
