was there any type of payout for the LMs? tow money?
They tried a co championship ( CASCAR sportsman cars ) before when Penny Bell was running things between Ottawa and St Eustache it was a flop as well.
Actually there was a good series for a couple years under Penny when it was delaware, st. Eustache, and CCS. 5 100 lappers at each track and 1 mandatory 150 at each track and the cars did travel from their home track to the 150s. Great racing from guys like Munro, Robblee, Beauchamp. The guy that bought it from Penny didn't (couldn't) carry it on as he drove all the cars away. I remember Ron Sheridan hauling all the way to a couple CCS 100's along with Quebec cars.
DELAWARE was never part of what I mentioned, it was strictly between CCS and St Eustache , Sheridan and a few other use to come and race including DJ Kennington.
Delaware , CCS , St Eustache was a 3 track deal later on Eobblee won it overall the 1st year
It fell apart when CCS would not honor the deal regarding the memberships between the 2 tracks to cut the costs a bit, next race in ST Eustache we were hit with YOU PAY FOR A TRACK MEMBERSHIP just like our guys did at CCS.
Doubt there was tow money. We didn't get any for the other rainout.
I'm gonna piss Slapdown off...but there was tow money. It LOOKED like he paid everybody 3-400.
Don't know 100% but he definetly gave some money out to atleast a couple of the quebec cars.
