Hey thanks for the pics. The one of him kneeling in the field beside the car was from a promo postcard. I remember getting one after seeing him in the parade for the Ilderton fair.

The one at the bottom...thats the one I really remember. Although I have some old program pics that show that car with more aero on the front and back ends, and considerably more beat up. Sure that was at the end of the season? That thing looks brand new.

Would love to see Earl Ross in this series at Cayuga.

Pearson, Marcis, Gant back racing in 2008? Racing legends David Pearson, Dave Marcis, Harry Gant, James Hylton, Geoff Bodine and more have signed up to race in The Old School Racing Champions Tour (OSRCT) in 2008. Scheduled to run ten races in 2008, starting on May 18, 2008. Driver safety is priority number one with the OSRCT. All tracks on the schedule are ¾ a mile or less and include such venues as two-time Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway, the Music City Motorplex, Southside Speedway, Hickory Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway, Flat Rock Speedway and the Springport Speedway. (OSRCT) is a new racing series debuting in 2008 that will have retired and semi-retired champion drivers competing in a 10 race regular season schedule followed by a “Last Chance Race” and a “Championship Race”.(OSRCT)(11-16-2007)

Thanks for posting these pictures, Statsman. Man, do those top black and white pictures bring back memories.

The top picture looks like Flamboro. I can remember when they had the flex-beam with the chicken wire behind it. Donny Biederman used to come off the corners and use the flex-beam to get straightenned out!

I forwarded the post regarding Earl's upcoming honour to Jayski but he requires more than a messageboard post before he will print it on his site.
Is there a reputable source for this info so Earl can get some much deserved acclaim at an inrenational level?
