DJ will start tonite's Busch race in 34th .........on TSN at 7:30
25th, one lap down...DJ drove to the top-20 or so, got up to 14th after pitstops and dropped back to 22nd, stayed out on a gamble and got to 4th on a restart, didn't get the caution they needed and ended up the first car one lap down...
As a side note, if I'm a track promoter looking to rebuild my speedway, I'd build one very, very similar to IRP...

I watched the race, and I thought DJ did an excellent job considering the equipment he was in! When he stayed out though, after the leaders all stopped for fuel & tires. it didn't take long after the restart to drop back in the field on those used tires, but hey, if it had have worked for them, they would have been in great shape!
I agree about ORP, that was great racing! If Cayuga wants to make any changes, they should consider just widenning the track and perhaps graduated banking??? But keep it a 5/8's.
Congrats to DJ Kennington on finishing 30th last night (Aug 24 ) at Bristol . He started last 43rd and to finish 13 positions higher than he started a Bristol is a job well done. Congrats D.J. and keep it going inthe Busch series
Hey DJ did an awesome job down at Bristol. First he had that flat tire and did a great job getting the car back into the pits without getting any damage, then, I don't know how he avoided that wreck, right in front of him.
I watched DJ the entire race as well as having him tuned into the scanner. It made for a really entertaining night! Just awesome!
