I think #3 should be retired. I think SR. deserves that! Jr will never be the racer that SR was. Let him race 5. He is selling out by going to hendricks anyway!

i like the 85 idea not too many tattoo changes. and yeah i do not think he has earned the #3. that might have to be saved for the grandson kerry's kid.

I guess if your a racer, you run the number they give you and be thankful you have a chance to race. In the scheme of things, from the drivers seat, it doesn't much matter what number is decaled on the door. "They'll know what car I'm in by the end of the race"

nobody will ever earn the respect to run #3. especially not jeff gordon
