i dont think the cup drivers are the problem, i believe it is the cost of the series has increased dramatically. the smaller teams have a hard time competing against the cup times because the man power is already at the track for crews and such. you get sponsor hogs such as rousch and hendrix and the small teams are sol.
most young guys that are being given a shot at cup didnt run Nwide for a few seasons in hopes of making it , most had an exceptionally good runs in there first few races to turn heads and prove they had it , bringing a car home in 28th postition with the fenders on isnt going to cut it and Petey and DJ are proving that
[glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left]I would think that with all of the talk about the Nationwide (Busch) cars heading to a COT program next year (2009), I would guess they will work with what they have and replace what they need only when needed. [/shadow] [/glow]
I heard that they are going to use Camaro's Firebirds Mustangs ect... For the Nationwide Series next year
I also believe Macdonald Motorsports is using Earnie Elliott motors
I heard recently they scrapped the muscle car idea, kinda sucks, I was looking forward to cheering on the Camaros lol
*shakes head at Jim Cressman...*
