This car is from my collection. I'm going to give 20% of the auction sale price to the cause.

This is getting a bit overwhelming. Using words like cause and fund and keep JR in the truck makes me feel a bit uneasy. All the talk of radio and everything. I wasn't trying to start a revolution here LOL.
My thinking here was something fun to do as a fan. There is not much an individual fan can do financially to support their driver. If I could support JR or DJ by buying a diecast I would. God knows Tony Stewart and Joe Gibbs have got enough of my money over the years. In the big scheme of things the money we could come up with wouldn't amount to much anyways except to show support for our Canadian drivers and maybe convince a sponsor that they have a lot of fan support.
I thought a few hundred CRO members getting together to do a sort of fan sponsor thing would be fun. A few bucks each adds up. I'm not trying to save a race team or an orphan here. I'm afraid now that this will be a big flop and do JR and DJ more harm than good. Don't want people doing a google on them then come across this thread and find out we couldn't put it together.
I know this has only been up for a day, and Evan hasn't heard back from TRG yet, but realistically if it doesn't have a chance to go anywhere I would suggest to Evan to take the $125 you have now, give it to the track champ program and then delete this post entirely.
