Evan by no means did I mean anything negitive about the idea, I think its great that folks want to help, and I give credit to the idea's...I even gave it a 10 !!

When push come to shove, and J.R. needs to stay in that deal I am sure it will happen one way or another.  His Dad could put the money up if he had to but I think they are hoping that J.R. gets enough exposure that it will bring on a sponsorhip deal.

I also think that J.R. will stay focused on the Truck Ride, and even go as far as spending the money there and parking the Canadian Tire deal for this year if push come to shove.
It's to bad C.T. has all of their money committed to Nascar Canada because their would be a ton more exposure putting it into J.R. right now then they could ever get out of the Nascar Canadian Tire Series advertising.

I have said it before on here and I will say it again, J.R. is one of Canada's best and in my book, is the only one that has the talent and the drive to go forward all the way to victory lane in any series, no matter what he is drivng.

If I was his Manager I would tell him, scrap the NCTS and the ARCA deal and stay focused on the Trucks where your building a reputation as a very promissing racer.

As for all of the fans of J.R. on here...just keep doing what your doing as someone with deep pockets will one day notice that everyone believes in the kid and his future for a reason.

Your argument sounds like a chicken or egg thing. If we show our support here then sponsors will come forward? If sponsors come forward will we support them? I don't know JR Fitzpatrick from a hole in the ground. I do know that he has talent and he is a Canadian trying to make it in the the American big leagues that only has a 5 run deal. This is all I'm saying. My motivations are probably more selfish than anything else since if we pull this off we can all say we were some small part of it. This site gets in the 1000's of individual hits per month. If we all pledged the cost of a couple cups of coffee then we would be well on the way. If we can't make it happen then another charity benefits. A no brainer as far as I concerned.

Doug....your right I read that back myself and it doesnt sound right !!
I never said I was a writter !!

What I ment was J.R.'s deal is a family deal and they stand beside him every step of the way, so yes I did mean Fitzpatrik's.
And the other thing I was trying to say was even if they were handed $25,000 for a race it wouldnt be enough to secure him a ride as it takes about $300,000.00 a race for that ride.

Before anyone starts anything on here and tries to get me started....
IM ON ALL OF YOUR SIDES AS I AM ALSO A JR FAN !!!!!

I wouldn't dare challenge anyone on a topic such as this. Your insights and everyone else's are welcome and appreciated. My motivations here are to give our Canadian boys a boost with the power of CRO. If it doesn't work then so be it. All I am saying is it is worth a try and to get it going I gave an amount to let others know I was serious. With the numbers of members here on CRO I thought we could get a grassroots thing going. Maybe when TRG gets back to Evan it will be a no go and the track champ deal will be richer for it. Maybe they will enthusiastic and we will be a part of something here.
I appreciate your and all others comments.
