With a winters worth of excitement and anticipation building up to tonight, staff, drivers and crew will have to wait one more week to kick off the 2010 season.  Constant overnight rain and more in the forecast have forced management to cancel the Coca Cola Full Throttle Season Opener.  After three successful test sessions the drivers were ready and staff has been working tirelessly to get the facility up to speed ready for another dirt slinging, high speed season on the 1/3rd mile dirt oval. Mother Nature however has her own ideas on when we will begin the 2010 season.

Brighton Speedway officials are looking for another event on the schedule where they can make up the food drive for the Brighton Fare Share Food Bank.

Be sure to join us next Saturday, May 15th when Campbellford Chrysler presents Dollar Dog Night!  Enjoy a night of racing featuring the Bainer’s Radiator Canadian Modifieds, Brighton Automotive Pro Stocks, Bill’s Johns Comp 4 and the Quinte Towing Stingers all while feasting on $1 Jumbo Hot Dogs all night long!  Vanderlaan’s Building supplies Pro Late Models will also be on hand for hot lap sessions throughout the night.

Keep an eye for updates at www.brightonspeedway.com and get ready to be at the track next Saturday!
