This weekend don’t miss your chance once again to check out the 2010 line up of cars. Fresh off the mall shows at the Quite Mall and the Northumberland Mall, Brighton Speedway cars and drivers will be on display at The Fast & Furious Motorsports Show at the Cobourg Arena on Saturday, April 17th from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm and again on Sunday, April 18th from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm. Admission at the door is only $5.00 and you will enjoy a number displays of cars, vendors, the SISCAR Simulator and an RC Car Challenge.
Brighton Speedway will also join Workman Auto Repair as they present their Spring Open House to introduce their new Transmission Shop, Quick Change Oil Change Bay and Automotive Machine Shop from 11:00 am till 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 17th. Come out and enjoy complimentary burgers and hot dogs as well as tour the new facility. Workman Automotive Machine Shop is the newly approved Crate Motor Repair Facility for the Speedway.
On Display in Cobourg will be Comp 4 # 8 Zac McBride, Pro Stock # 55 Jamie Marshall, Canadian Modified # 9 Mat Vanderlinden, Late Model # 77 Caley Weese, and the # 79 Sprint Car of Dick Mahoney. On display at Workman Auto Repair will be Comp 4 # 12 Kyle Sopaz and Late Model # 57 Charlie Sandercock
All this excitement leads up to the May 8th Coca Cola Full Throttle season opener. Admission is only $2 with a food donation to the Brighton Food Bank and for that you will receive an exciting night of racing and family entertainment!
