Bellevue Fabricating presents Gord’s Water Vantastics this Saturday at Brighton Speedway
BRIGHTON – Round 12 of Brighton Speedway’s 47th season of racing is set to rumble to life on Saturday night. Bellevue Fabricating presents the a full card of racing featuring all five regular divisions plus the Gord’s Water Vantastics.
The Vantastics last raced on June 28 where a strong field of 17 vans put on an exciting and whacky show for fans. The Mike Freeman/Jane Mastin combination put on a clinic in the No.51, winning the race by a half lap. Another full field will look to dethrone them in the second of three appearances for the vans this season.
Vanderlaan Building Products Pro Late Models
Charlie Sandercock (No.57 Bellevue Fabricating) is fresh off his sixth win of the season last Saturday night, outdueling Greg Belyea (No.25 Excel Tower Service) to the finish. That extended Sandercock’s points lead over Steve Baldwin (No.5 cigarchief.com) to 145 markers. Phil Potts (No.29 Vanderlaan), Matt Vanderlinden (No.09 Integra Racing Shocks), and Adam Turner (No.92 Village Variety) complete the current top-five in the championship standings.
OilGARD Canadian Modifieds
Dan Ferguson (No.11 Kilmarnock Enterprise) enters week 12 on a high after two consecutive victories. This week’s 30-lap race marks the final leg of the RONA Trenton Triple Crown. So far, Andrew Hennessy (No.87 Custom Automotive) and Dale Locke (No.13 Allore Haulage) have earned Triple Crown wins. Ryan Scott (No.33 J&J Automotive) leads the championship standings by 25 points over Hennessy.
