flybyya8, I think that norms car was a mix of both nxtgen and old. It used the frame and body from an old school and the tin kit out of a nxt gen.

• Tubular front upper control arms are allowed and must fit stock chassis mounts with no modifications to chassis.

• Rear upper control arms may be fabricated from steel. Stock length and mounts only. Non adjustable.INTERIOR
All upholstery materials, trim and padding must be removed. The front and rear firewalls must have all holes and openings filled with sheet metal. NO SHEET METALS SCREWS TO BE USED. Pop rivets or welding/brazing only.
Original transmission tunnel and firewalls must be retained. Passenger side floor may start from top of transmission tunnel and run straight across to passenger door and must be made of minimum 22 gauge steel. You have to patch half the firewall on most of these cars on the passenger side where the heater box was with sheet metal and his is all in the stock position and has the stock trans. tunnel. All was approved by tech! Just in case Dave's motor passed with flying colors this past weekend with room to spare.
