Billy Melenhorst. Crumbie has it locked up. Frank has a good lead going to be hard to overtake him in one night and same for McLeod.

I am just wondering what the track will do as it is a grim outlook for racing this weekend be it Sat or Sun....will we race the weekend after the TC classic? Will they just call the season?

Well as much as I like Billy, I'm sticking with Desi in Chargers. Shes led most of the year and really deserves it!! ( Not that Billy doesnt). Alot of it will have to do with the starting position each one pulls in the heats and what cars are in the heats with them. Desi should be starting ahead of Billy in the feature as well so if she can keep him behind for 15 laps that could really help her cause. I would have to agree that Crumbie and Frank seem to have the titles already wrapped up, all they have to do is take the green for the feature essentially. The LLM could still be very much up in the air with Twin 50s to be run!!! Keith is still the heavy favorite but if he breaks or gets in a wreck in the first 50 he could be in some trouble. And not meaning to wish anything bad on Keith as he was my pre season prediction, but hes had mechanical trouble twice this year in the Look Company Dodge so anything can happen. Dont know if they'd let him run another car if he wrecked in the first 50 either, cause technically you have to qualify the car in the heats. For twin 50s they time trial for qualifying and points so if he were to take a time trial in the 19 car they might not let him run another. Just food for thought, not trying to start a riot!!LOL Better battles further back in the pack with Lewis 8pts ahead of Inglis for 3rd, and Robin just 8pts back of Al. #48 Dwayne Baker sits 6th just one point back of Jongen, so hes worked his way back to just outside the top 5 after not starting that one night. You know hell be trying his best for a good finish to land in the top 5, so it should be very interesting!!! And no fear of it ending the season if bad weather strikes they would have to make it up at some point to get the 18 races in for Whelen $$$. Was so choked in 2006 when we had 4 cars with a legit shot at the title ( Walters, Tim Watson, Baker, and Gaunt) and we never could get that last race in. Tim and Tom were separated by 1 point, man that was really the race that got away on us!!! OHHH well rest assured it wont happen this time!!!
