I agree, I think this should be sorted out between the drivers because they truley know what was going on. What spectators see in the stands can be totally different from what actually happened. Unfortuneatley crews tend to get into a situation, irregardless if they are allowed to or not, it will happen out of protection of the driver. And seeing if one driver left the track because he was so angry and didn't want to make any stupid moves by staying out, goes to show that he has respect for the other driver as well as himself enough to leave and not make it worse than what it could have been. We all know what drivers can and will do out of anger, especially with a gas pedal under their foot.
Dixon#27 I know you are not going to mention names, but obviously if it shows on the tv, this situation will be pin pointed and everyone will know anyways. And when family and friends of the other driver read this, we know exactly who your talking about. I am not saying this rudely, but simply just stating it as a fact.
Everyone has to remember there are 2 sides to every story and especially with racing accidents, it is best to leave it to the drivers.
I beleive that some behaviour on the track would lead up to a pit crew kicking the car expecially if the officals do not react to incidents on the track, I have noticed that the officals are not using the black flag when they should be and ignore alot of misbehaviour out there. I do not agree with the crew member hitting the car but I think its better than the crew member hitting the driver. and causing a bigger incident. I do believe that crying about this now on here instead of giving the other team a chance to cool down and talk to them that NIGHT to fix the problem. or at the least discuss it. would have been a way better solution to this problem as your team and the other team have BOTH been known to be good clean drivers and have good behavior from the pit crew in general.try talking to the other team first or at least the track officals that night to deal with it in a more professional manner
okay so i was definatley not "crying about it", i thought i would bring it up to the racing community but maybe i shouldn't have and i will remember next time not to. i am not the kind of person to stir up trouble and i would like to apoligize to anyone that has been offended or bothered by my posts, especially to the other driver and crew if this has caused them any grief.
I would have to say the track needs to do something about off track incidents because thats 3 weeks in a row something has happened between teams off the track. and yes I am the stupid head that was involved in week 2 unfortunately but that is all past us now....lol....maybe we can stop this from happeneing by imposing a rule that has a stiff penalty for these actions by drivers or crew members, maybe somebody will think twice before reacting. then calm down first...But a rule would not completely solve these issues off the track. The officials would have to enforce these rules and issue the penalties accordingly for anything to change! just my thoughts
didnt you get suspended for crew actions a couple of years ago there khanefreak? ???
