IMO, if we are going ot allow engine mods, then why not go all out and run a mod-4 class...the only problem is the car counts might not be there....ia m pretty sure we wouldn;t run it...we dont have the funds to put something like that together...
Ok well for a 4 cylinder tires why not do the kawartha, goto the Falken, or sorry highly recommend it but keep it open and then have the track buy the tires and sell them, the azenas cost 110 by themselves and are 95 when purchased in mutiples, and they last how long and are basically made for the purpose of racing, and most guys at barrie are running them now. So not only is it safer but cost efficient vs how much for some of the other high performance tires out there.
The "Tunder" Cars. Give me a cost on the build up of the 00 and the 2, i believe both were in the range of $15000 to $20000 thats what i have heard please correct me if I'am wrong, so now difference between old gen and next gen is what full tin kit, ford 9", moving of the firewall, after market body panels.
So then do
Barrie rules vs Coalition rules,
-Load Bolts vs no lead bolts
-Ford 9" vs stock rear ends(pretty sure its stock rear ends)
-Brake bias vs no brake biasing
-Holly Carburetor vs Rochester 2 or 4 barrel
-7inch ride height vs 6 inch ride height
-Adjustable Sway Bars vs Non Adjustable
-Adjustable lower control arms
-Different version of Towel City Recaps.
-Im also not sure on barries track width rule
So thats all i have with out comparing motor rules but i think they are the same on that. So after that it brings up the point of if you have a camero or a chevelle or full size monte or mustang your going to built a completly different car and not be able to do anything with your old one, its great if you have a metric chassis but after that what about everyone else.
In the US guys are paying 75-125 bux a tire for Hoosier F-35's and F-45's the harder tires are lasting the whole season on a good handling chassis.
it is not that expensive to change a thunder car to new gen. look at the 42 it was al penny's old 45 from last year,I heard it was built new gen for less than $2000.000 that takes talent and experience and it can be done

That was just for the panels because it was already abarrie car and had the rear end and carb and load nbolts already in it.
