Not like we have many right now, and you have to remember other tracks may follow you never know but history shows it.

it would more than likely turn out like the new gens, with them being exclusive to barrie....

I think you are being a little short-sighted...in 5 years others will follow suite.

i can't see coalition tracks following a non-coalition track though

and i really reeeeeeeeally don't have the time/energy to fend off barrie supporters if they start bashing sunset, so if anyone reading this wishes to engage in an insightfull, intelligent conversation, then by all means.....

if you're going to reply with LOLZ SUNSET DOESNT HAVE NEW GENS CAUSE THEY'RE A JOKE, then sod off

Hey Spencer I am not going to say anything like that... But I will say that within the next few years the G-Metrics will continue to dry up. For every Malibu like mine I find that is 1. reasonable price, 2. two doors, 3. can be towed without breaking in half I find lots that are "Future Collectible" and priced accordingly or completely rotten and just as much work or more than to build a new gen. The reality is that GM is not making anymore of those cars and there is no other readily available platform to build Thunder Cars. G-Metric chassis and newer bodystyle (new gen) is one way to go, Delaware has pickup trucks. The coalition is going to have to make a decision on this sooner or later. And they don't even do things the same within the coalition, Mosport has the "6 or less" class...
Five Star makes complete Monte body packages for $900 US, but that's quite a bit to spend on sheetmetal.

i'm not too familiar with the new gen rules....but i beleive if it was simply a case of a different body style then there wouldn't have been as big of a stink regarding the new gens from the coalition tracks

There is not as nearly as big a difference as people think. Not to mention our carbuetors ar enot going the waqy of the dodo bird, plus they dont cost a forutne to rebuild...

i fear that until the new gens are more like a coalition thunder car in ways other than body type, they will be exclusive to barrie

but what do i know...im just speculating....

Just a reminder that this is for Pure Stock rules. And Dave 44 Barrie Car is just as fast as the next gen's and he does not run that chassis. Spencer you should read the rules about them and then point out the differences.
