The only prob;lem with making like a mod-4 class is........no more invitationals....lol..
Not like we have many right now, and you have to remember other tracks may follow you never know but history shows it.
No, I get that tooner...I just really like going to fall colours and such....thats what I was meaning...
do the rules need changing?....i work at a GM dealership and i see lots of 2007 and 08 cars with 14 inch tires and more to come...i think a racing tire maybe helps guys out that cant find the handling as well as others, but it doesnt even the class out...the guys that kno how to get a car around the track will be even farther ahead...just look at flamboro, the same guys are winning with the new tires and the same are at the back, just costing the little guys more $ just to come out and play, because the fast guys were spending $ on tires before...if u want to spend money and go faster move up a class....isnt that what drivers usually do...just my 2 cents not dumpin on ya.
as for other tracks following... the northern tracks wrecked the challenger class...it was basic street stock when flamboro started it...then everyone followed and for a year or 2 u could run anywhere with the same car...then sauble, sunset or barrie let them change rearends...then brought in race tires...then let in camaros...then load bolts...then figberglass bodies...i remember casale would make us wait a year to change to keep up with it all...car counts dropped...so casale started a new street stock class...and then the challenger class was ruined because they were almost latemodels getting paid like street stocks...the owners loved it...lol....now the street stocks are thundecars with load bolts and race tires...here we go again.
