i think the victory lap is a great idea. all drivers get their due for the time and effor we put in to the cars.

Well said, and form the sponsors prospective I can see it meaning something...but as for me being a fan b4a racer I don;t think I would care either way...to be honest....

yes it is a great way to celebrate all the hard work everyone has done on the car. It's almost like a thank you to them for everything they have done and for the sponsors for helping out and for the fans who keep showing up. well said charger

I agree. I think the victory lap would be great to bring back. A driver takes a lot of pride in winning the race, the fans would love to watch their fav driver go around. And the crew can watch and take great pride as well in watching the car they work on so hard go around. A special moment for them all. Personally if someone doesn't care for the idea or see the point in it, I think it's because they haven't been close to the victory point or ever had a win, cause everyone who has, would love that one lap!
