Twin 40s Next. What are your thoughts??

Well coming off what I thought was one of the better weekends of racing we"ve had at Barrie this season, I thought it would be a good time to get some chatter going about the Twin 40's this coming weekend. Tradionally the Twin 40 shows have been some of the best over the last 2 seasons so lets hope that trend continues and matches the great racing we were treated to this past weekend at Barrie. For the record in the first twin 40 this year both Baker and McLeod captured a segment. In the LLM McLeod holds a 13 point lead over Shepherd, after gaining 10 on Gordie last week. Now if Gord can somehow finish ahead of Keith in both features, that would make it ultra tight once again. Its Rama Mocassin & Smoke night so you know Lewis will be charging hard looking to put on a good showing for his sponsors. Dave comes in 27 points behind and hes tightly bunched with Al Inglis who is just 2 points further behind him. Could make for some very close racing this weekend. I assume there will be time trials again, so ripping off a good lap could really help one of these veterans. Another question is will the Baker cars and Brown be in the field?? I sure hope so!!! Will Malcolm be racing off an impressive showing last weekend??? Lots of interesting scenarios and questions yet to be answered. Flyin Frank continues to lead the Thunders, now holding a 20 point lead over last weeks winner St. Onge. Eddie Tremblay has found some tough luck in recent weeks, and has now fallen back in a 3rd place tie with Holden. Both these drivers are within striking distance from the top, and could be the benefactors if bad luck happens to either Frank or Darryl. Steve Slaughter Jr. is a new addition and might get a few wins before the year is out as well. Crumbie appears to be secure atop the Pure Stocks with a 45 point lead over Meyer. Milligan and Melenhorst are also contenders to win on any given night, or will we see a first time winner such as Surerus, Hallyburton or either of the Sikes??? In Chargers Desi has yet to win a feature, but still holds a comforatable 25 point lead over Crystal in what should be a great race for the rest of the year. Both girls have run ultra clean all season long so kudos to them!!!! What do you guys think??? Is it possible to have two good weeks in a row??

It looks to me if you look at the radar...by this evening we will be ok. it's later this morning/evening that the rain is gonna be a lot in the Barrie area...that's just the way it looks to me..so I hope they hold off before calling it

3-Wide At least you gave us a little hope. This sitting around waiting for a weather report is hard on the nerves. Lets cross our fingers. Keep an eye on that radar. thanks 3-Wide.

if you are waiting for weather on KICK don't hold your breath...haha, im doing it...

I think with the proposed 15-20 mm of rain even our piuts may flood...haha
