I was simply pointing out you have to let some passion spill over here, you cant take it out of racing or racing conversations. For the record i think YOU do a good job tex but if this site is to continue to grow and be interesting you cant keep killing the good stuff.
I do agree if they get oout of hand and there is threats you gotta do your job but this one was just plain interesting.

I read what was written in a sequence of 5 or 6 posts, from 3 parties and it was pretty clear if I said what was said in those posts to someone on the street I would get a punch in the head.

That's where I draw the line. Passion is very important for this sport and I think the reason many fans are drawn to it. Fans and future racers. I don't want to dilute this passion and I let some things go. This time it was getting very personal and aggressive. I will not tolerate that as a Moderator. I didn't warn anyone or take any other action, I believe some parties registered just to get their kicks in on someone else.

I've offered my apologies twice. I was doing something else and I hit the wrong button. It appears most of the content has reappeared thanks to Dave Vokey. I know resigning as Moderator would make you happy Thayne but it isn't going to happen. JMHO...

Hey Tex you are only human and we all have hit a wrong key on the keyboard at one time or another, and anyone who says they haven't, well you can guess what I would say to them. Keep up the good work, I know you would not stop passion on this site,as I have seen you express some pretty passionate stuff. Hey like the slogan says "DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS" gotta love it...lol
