There was an announcement made at the Barrie speedway Banquet last evening regarding a 4 race, 2 at each track, series between Kawartha and Barrie with a separate points fund. Details are to be released on the respective websites int eh coming months....but it is an interesting announcement and a step int he right direction for the track!

Should definitely be interesting pitting Doucette, Elliott, Brandon, Burrage,Denhollander and yourself Thayne up against Kawartha's best like Donaldson, Reyns, Baker Jr, and Strawn.. Hope the payouts will be handsome enough to ensure the majority of the guys will travel... Maybe even add 50-100 hometrack points if you race all 4 races.. Wonder if that's on the radar cause it might help out with car counts..
I missed these announcements last night but did hear their allowing 16 V in Pure Stock division... Did they make any mention of just what the weight penalty is??? I think I heard 100 pounds for a 16 V???
That's definitely very cool. I wish Del could work something out liek that with someone. Unfortunately we're kind of on an island as far as our Super Stock rules go.
Any word on when the drivers meeting might be??
