This was no racing incident! sorry!!
Mike Brown did what he had to, to get around a lapped car that was in his way. I cant see any other driver not doing the same thing!!  Mike did try the outside, but the 44 kept pushing up when he went outside. I counted two laps that Mike tried the outside. But that is when the pack caught him, and was giving him hell as well from behind!! thats when the punt came in turn 1. mike punted him enough to get the inside line, and as the 44 kept his line through 1 and into 2, he just kept turning left. Bodyslaming mike so hard that the complete right side of the car was mangled as well as the nose. To say that it is Mikes fault is wrong. The 44 was a lapped car and should have steered clear, giving the leaders the room to run atleast the outside line. not try to keep up and overdrive it into the corners so bad that he pushed up into anyone trying the outside line. A LLM is not a 4 cyl MUSTANG!!!!! Maybe if the 44 was leading and the 2 was challenging. But this was not the case, and a leader was taken out.....  I hope the track gets they re stuff together, because if they continue to allow these incidents to go unabated, you will see a few drivers go race elsewhere. and at such a critical time for barrie, they dont want they're best cars going to run at Sunset or PTBO.

And as for the crowd after the race, I was there and Mike was not raving mad as some might have expected. he wasnt happy either!!  But the situation was calmed quickly, and the proper channels were addressed. except for some punks with mouths, that maybe were just there to see what was goin to happen, or were there to agitate the situation, nothing happened!!!!!!!.

I will try to remain objective... however, some points mentioned were quite disappointing.

As someone has mentioned already there were some really great showings by some rookies last night. Of particular note, Don Brandon (Thunder Cars) did very well last night.
We'll see how the next few weeks turn out. New Management and staff can always be a bit of a learning curve...
While a good idea, I really find it hard to believe that 50 some odd cars will be teched week in and week out (LM and Thunder Cars). Additionally the four cylinder classes seem to create more injuries as far as I can remember... I would think a rotating schedule would be much more practical.

Yes and more Staff meetings are nessasary to who is suppose to do what their jobs are,My wife and I were at the counter to get something to eat and the one girl did not know how to use the cash register,My wife had the urge to say ''would you like help with that''But didn't We just stood there longer and longer,,but the staff and owners had 6 months to get ready there should of been no excuse, and even the tech shed has work to do I notice no one has thought of the way stock wheels are supossed to be on a 4cyl car 1 or 2 ,I notice the wheels are protruding past the fender a great deal so how they missed that is beyond me so Is the race director doing his job???JMO..

What was the big tech with the thunders? They allowed tin kits and 100# of weight to built motors right?.

100lbs is right, the tin kit thing is still a little murky. They scaled us after the first heat when we finished second, not after the third heat wich we won, and scaled us after the feature and checked our carb. We just thought it a bit confusing but not a big issue. growing pains of a new season.
