I believe your off swaybar, but not by much. That night the 24 car was dq'd, the 00 was running a crate motor."Rumour has it" their was shimmed valve springs in it. Under the crate motor rules, that would require a 12 calendar month suspension. The following week the horsepower motor was installed and he has not beat the 44 since. You don't think Barrie Speedway would knowingly spit in the face of the other drivers of new generation cars with crate motors by letting them away with that, do you? ::) ??? 😮
Somthing has to be done cause theres no way either of them are legal. Did anybody notice that 44 on restarts, looks like he was shot out of a cannon!!.
TAJ "rumour has it that you are with the #2 thunder car and that you got caught cheating with a cheated center link from Reynolds" and where still aloud to race last sat. I think that tech should disqualify the entire field and there will be no thunders, wadda ya think??l
I'll clear up your rumour "hello there", I own the 2 car. Our team didnot get caught cheating, I aproached the tech department, as I do anytime we make a change on our car, and had them look at or new front end parts. Kevin put a great centre link in the car when it was built. As you may have witnessed two weeks ago we had a wreck involving the 97 & 92 cars ,bending the link for the third time. Thanks to Greg at Simcoe Auto we got one from an 81 Malibu. Thats why I had it checked because I did not know if it was the same as a 86 Monte Carlo. I'm a carpenter, not a mechanic, just ask anyone who knows me. I love my nephew but when it comes to parts for that car I trust Greg from simcoe, the guys at bayside, Billy Howard and Brad Richmond on how legal a part is.
I think that this all has to do with the dude from the Sunset Speedway Forum with reqards to the coat. But then again probably just me trying to stir the pot. You folks have a GREAT weekend out there and race safe!!!
