They wouldnt be useless, teams are just going to have to settle for racing at one track, know matter what dranspires their, and when you want to sell it your going to have a very small group interested in buying it, therefore taking a very heavy hit financially.
How about a thunder car gear rule? that may help, the built guys (and a few of the cheating crate guys) turn them way up, limit them to lets say a 6:40 final or a glide with a 373 or a th350 with a 273 or whatever
Spence, I think they are basicaly just getting in line with the other 4 tracks. Nobody approached us while we were there, I beliieve the call was made to support their home track cars who were upset that he got such a big lead. Although some of us know their isnt many differences between say the 2 car and the 44 car, at the rate tracks are talking, new gens may become orphans.
but if every track is against them running with the thunders, how will the disgruntled next gen fans know where to air their grievances?!?!

spoke with lynch of kawartha today and he welcomes new gens, i think there is uncertainty about them now but they are the future of thunder no matter how hard you try to stop it. Remember when the crate engine was introduced to the late models to try to save money and most people said this will never work, and tracks banned them ?? there is less and less bodies available for the old styles and aftermarket only makes race bodies for montes in the old style. I think that would look brutal if everybody had the same body. So to make a future for this class the cars have to be identifyable to newer generations.
