Saturday was just not a good night for racing... hot tempers mixed with extra heavy lead foots from not racing for 2 weeks just doesn't mix well.

Now, polishprince12, I don't appreciate you calling Cathy names. Cathy has more things going on then any of you would know about. So if you don't actually know her, I wouldn't be sitting there calling her names.
Also, I went home with Brandon and the Crumbie's Saturday night, and I can tell you, Brandon was absolutely FURIOUS with his mother for her actions. He told her, that if any of this crap happens again, that he will not be racing, and he is second in points in the run for the championship, so I can assure you, if it happens again, she won't be at the track for a while. Also, when Cathy hit or pushed you or whatever she did, Brandon took her back to the van immediately because it could have gotten a lot worse.
Also, I can tell you, that when Cathy realizes what she did was wrong, she will be over there apologizing to you, just as she did with what happened last year with Dave Glaze.

Simply_the_truth, you are forgetting a few people when you say your 2 cents about who you think should get a suspension, it has been said in the tech shed during drivers meetings, that you are not to enter another teams pit area unless welcome, well if BRYAN Penny, the Crumbie's and the Milligans should all get a suspension, then so should Ricky and Jim, because they were BOTH in the Milligan/Crumbie pit area yelling, fighting and carrying on. Yes, it may have taken a lot for Jim not to do anything after Cathy hit him, but he was STILL in another pit area, unwelcome, after being told to leave.
Also, when being told to leave the pit area, as they were unwelcome, one of the involved parties, decided it would be nice to call someone from the Milligan/Crumbie team a b*tch, if someone called you a b*tch, would you just sit back and take it, or would you be mad too?

Whatever happened, happened. It's in the past, and it can't be undone, and Simply_the_truth, I don't believe suspensions can be handed out now anyways, it should have been dealt with THE NIGHT OF the incident, not a week later.

Ok  Brandon and I burried the hatchet on this last yr I thought but plain and simple your rights end at the other persons nose, I totally agree with Polishprince12 on the spitting issue  if you feel you should spit on somebody then be willing to spit your teeth into your hands because trust me if you spit on me I don't care if your the Pope I'm gonna give you something to spit out!!  As for Mrs. Crumbie she's really starting to give Brandon and Dave an issue IE  pushing or hitting people!  Brandon I know you have no choice but to defend her but you and your father are a "CLASS ACT" don't let your mom be the curtain call for you!! nip this one in the but quick!!! heck from what I hear the issue had nothing to do with the Crumbies Mrs. Crumbie decided to be a good samaritan when there clearly wasn't a need for it nor was she involved!!  I still think now right now that Brandon is the class of the 4 banger field but his mothers out bursts need to stop imediately!!  giver hell Brandon get the problem fixed !!!

lets get something straight, my feet didn't touch grass therefore i was not in your pit. MRS. Crumbie, i was surprised at your reaction and didn't appreciate it. what got me all fired up was the fact that rick was being dragged away and the kid was still calling him on, which is unfair. i wasn't going to punch the guy but spitting is the highest form of insult and rick is my friend. i've been told the story behind the spitting but how is anyone to know. where people think i should be suspended, they have their heads up not only their ass but whole bunch of them. i will quit the name calling and i have no problem with the crumbie boys. yelling never hurt anyone and i don't regret what i did one bit! as a matter of fact if someone spit on your boys, i'd have their back too!

I don't have a problem with you Jim, I don't know you. Nor did I ever say what she did was right. Like I said, I'm sure when she realizes what she did was wrong(mind you, it may take a few weeks), she will come apologize. All I wanted was for you to stop calling her names, and you said you would. Thank You.

I don't think that the guy spitting at Ricky was right, not at all, I don't know what happened, I wasn't there. I was standing with a friend at the Milligan/Crumbie pits when all hell broke loose. Sorry Jim, I thought you were on the grass, if you weren't, I apologize.

I don't think anyone should be suspended, BUT if there were to be suspensions handed out, it should be handed out to ALL parties involved.. not just certain ones right? Just as if the roles were reversed, and you got suspended and other parties that were involved got off scott free, that wouldn't be fair.

Also, like I said, I don't think they can hand out suspensions a week later anyways, it would have had to be done the night of the incident, not after.

Well Racinggurl let me tell you a story. We were told the night of the incident with the owner that Dave was suspended for 2 weeks. After that they changed their minds and informed us that it had changed to 2 race events. Therefore the track can do whatever they want. If you read the NASCAR rule book, it gives them the ability to do whatever the want with no notice. According to the Race Director we were suppose to receive a registered letter, but we never got one. I don't believe it was ever sent (this would fall under the they can do whatever they want rule). According to Brian (Race Director), the letter was sent the Monday after the incident, it had the RD name on it, CC the track, but apparently the track was the one who sent it. The RD had to call D. Simpson to see if it was sent, they could give no reason why we do not have it. We now have a copy that was given to us by the RD on Sat night. So they may get a registered letter, or the may show up and be told they can't race.
The fact that she physically hit somebody is a much more serious offense then yelling, and for yelling we got a 2 week suspension.
