Did racing this Saturday night fall short? In my opinion yes. Was it the owners fault? I am one of the guys that jumped all over them for last week, but they weren't in the cars Saturday night, so in my opinion no. Did track officials blow some calls? For sure they did. Did drivers fumble the ball? Damn right they did. Under the same circumstances, would Moran have done a better job? I may have not known Brad that well(haha) but not on your life.! Anyone remember the Barely Speedway song, starring the show stopper?? If half of the sponcors or your drivers knew what was said behind your backs in prior seasons, you wouldn't be on here kissing his ass. I've been their when B.S.W was the flag ship of racing, and it is pretty tough to talk to some of you guys and to sponscors, without repeating the things I have heard or witnessed. Jimmy, I love you a bunch, but be careful what you wish for. I might be an a**hole, and maybe thats how alot of people feel about the track, but, is everybody truly believe things would be so much better if we took a step back? I for one am tired of listening to someone cry tha a certain Dodge guy,screwed us alover when I know whose money backed alot of Ontario short track racing. I know I was embarrased enough that I thanked the man on our spoiler for a season. Who ever outhere thinks they can fix this deal so it is all roses, step up to the plate, I have a B.S.W. shirt in my closet with alot of hours on it, lots of sweat and a few pints of blood that has been washed out of it.  I will humbally deliver it to you , and even do it up for ya. Yes, profesionalism starts with the track, even if it means admiting you are wrong, but it finishes with us! If we act like morons or morans, then the show has no hope, and our fans our the ones that pay the price.

ya cheater I would agree with daisy, really harsh post, the respect thing is an issue. Its something that the drivers have to fix.

I agree, the drivers do need to fix this, but once again, I tried to respect another driver and discuss some of the racing with him in a kind, calm matter. All he did was laugh at me and be-little me. How can this be fixed? I try to be what everyone says we should do, then to be treated that way? Some people just need to get their heads out of their ass's. That is the way it has left me to feel. Find it harsh, but I tried being respectful and nice.....

terry, i personally don't think you are an asshole, and i don't care what anyone thinks either. i know you got humped in the hoop by moran, and i am sure that i was talked about behind my back. you know as much as anybody how much i love barrie speedway, i grew up there. all i want is to go back to hard racing and good times because the racing is shit this year. my crew guys, who have been with me forever said last night that they weren't enjoying barrie anymore and they couldn't care if they ever came back. thats sad man! Without those guys i wouldn't even be racing, we are a team. so what am i supposed to do? dilley and moran ran that place the best of all (so far) and i hope i can say that about the new owners in years to come and i'm sure i will. without gordy and nigel,  i'm sure there would be a subdivision where the track stands now. i think people are right, the drivers have to stop this shit, so get rid of the stupid pit rule and instead of ruining the show and a bunch of hardware, let the drivers deal with it in the pits like the good old days. roll in the dirt, brush off and go have a beer together. just my opinion!

I will use talent as "driving within your, and the car's limits" Is that better? Half the cars in all divisions would be faster if they slowed down. You know what i mean? Hey guess what?, I raced for two years and never won a race! Does that make me talentless? NO. But i did race people clean, drove within the cars and my own limit, and was never a hazard or inpedment to the other racers. In two years of late model, i only had one run-in, and that was when i drove it in too hard, over the rumble strip and stoved Ron Lethbridge. and guess what, he didnt come flying around and drive me into the wall. Because up until that point, I didnt drive like someone from H.R.C on a day pass. There is the respect factor. The Barrie drivers need to get it together way more than the owners do. ' Waaaah they took too long to line us up' well heres an idea, dont drive like idiots and there wont be so many cautions! ' Waaaaah they dq'ed me'  well then dont cheat!   ' Waaaah the water is 50 cents more expensive than pop'  Now THAT is the owners problem. How is fizzy water with sugar, colouring, and additives 50cents less expensive than plain old friggin water???? What is the common  problem the RACERS, in all divisions can fix? Start there, because racing like on sat. night you are only going to be racing for your friends and family soon. It might be harsh but it is the reality.
