well in my opinion another crap night at barrie. the features were long drawn out , caution filled and overall sickening. there is no respect amongst drivers in any division, this is so f...ing obvious! then you get some little sawed off prick spitting into rick walts car as he drives through the pits and the milligan and crumbie gang stick up for the little puke. old lady crumbie even hit me, the f....ing psycho! if you're going to spit on someone, you better be willing to spit your teeth into your hand. i have supported wholeheartedly, barrie speedway for 20 years, but that place is out of control!!!
holy, i don't understand why 4-cylinder racers and thier crews are attacking thunder cars?
but whatever... what was going on in the pure stock race? fighting is NOT COOL guys! there are kids that are or should i say were your fans watching you be "cool" and fight people over a racing deal. if you can't handle if respectfully then don't race. i know i haven't raced yet so i don't know what goes on in the cars on the track. tempers flare for sure but is it really worth losing points and potentionally losing a championship?? come on guys clean it up and get back to racing! no more demolition derby!
Well some drivers just need to learn to hold their line when racing out there. There are some so I hear that think that if it's pavement they have the right to drive on it. Well yes but if someone else is there, the answer is no. Then their are those that figure if you can't get around someone, lets just drive them right into the wall, which is exactly what happened last nite. Their is a team that seems to think this is quite exceptable, maybe they should be racing at Sunset, its exceptable there, not a BSW. Lets not forget it's been 2 weeks without racing and I think some where just a little overly zealous about racing. A little to eager and thus hard racing to get it out of their system. It seems that who ever you go to with a problem at BSW, it just get passed off to someone else or if you address the issue to certain people they just say, I only own the place it's not up to me, talk to this person. Yes BSW needs to pull the reins in on some of these guys, and step up to the plate and take some leadership but from what I hear that isn't going to happen any time soon. If this keeps up I don't think we will see the Nascar logo on the track next year. Its just not being run like a professional track right now. Drivers taking things into their own hands is the result of frustrations and nothing being down about the problems. BRAD AND STEVE PLEASE COME BACK AND HELP GET THIS TRACK BACK TO WHERE IT SHOULD BE. I love BSW and in the last 3 years I have come to love short track racing a lot, last year was fun this year well it isn't fun.
Ok this is just my own best 20 min rundown of the nights events again. LLM race was won by #17 Garry Reynolds for the 2nd feature in the last 2 race events. #69 Allan Inglis would have his best finish of the year to finish 2nd. #10 Gordie Shepherd would come across the line 3rd, with 19 McLeod and 8 Lewis rounding out the top 5. Point leader Baker would finish 6th, after Lewis got by him in 1&2 on the last lap. I thought this was a pretty solid race, only 3 or 4 cautions for minor incidents and a fair bit of passing went on. Heats went to Shepherd, #2 Mike Brown, Reynolds, and the "Never Late 28" of Robin Jongen. Thunder Mid Season 50 lapper won by #72 Marty Monette, who led from flag to flag after starting pole. Second was #2 Eddie Tremblay. Only get this, the most sportmanlike gesture of the night to #44 Dave Doucette, who would lend Eddie his car after Eddie blew the rear end of his own car in practice. The ever steady #49 "Flyin" Frank Davey would finish 3rd, with #22 Jason Elliott recording a career best 4th place finish. #97 Brad Holden would fight back for a top 5 after being sent to the back early.Heats to Davey, #00 St.Onge, #38 Melson, and #35 Chance Isherwood. The win for the 35 car would be the first for Chance in that ohhhhhhh so sweet lookin Thunder. Race had a few more cautions than I would of liked to see, but was nice to see Monette win. His only feature he won last season was under totally different circumstances and probably felt a little hollow. So good for Marty and team who faithfully haul from Hamilton each week.Pure Stocks it was point leader #4 Mike Meyer taking the win. #63 Crumbie would finish 2nd, with 24 Milligan,37 Sikes, and #35 Nick French rounding out the fast five. Not gonna say much about this race other than totally despicable!!!LOL But really one full hour to complete a 20 lap race says it all.!!!! Charger feature was great as per usual and ran really clean. I could be wrong but dont think their was a caution over 15 laps. #33 Crystal Doucette would take her 2nd feature of 08. #90 Jim McDonald would wave another good run coming home the runner up. #22 Chris King would continue a solid season with a 3rd, while #2 Billy Melenhorst, and #56 Jeff Heighington would round out the top 5. Was a solid race, but Doucette totally spanked the field after starting 3rd on the grid. Heats to Doucette, McDonald x 2, and #68 Drew Stieler starting in the Allyson Smith car. Not gonna go into some of the other goings on at the track but will wait for that!!LOL Gotta head to bed after working all night long after the track, and I wanted the results up for all to see.

squirrel and i had a great heat race and guess what barrie speedway fans, WE DIDN"T EVEN SMASH EACH OTHER TO PASS! Maybe i was dreaming, it just doesn't seem possible that two people raced side by side a didn't wreck each other. Good win Dave! As for brad and steve, please, please , please we want barrie speedway "the best show on ashphalt " back. Not the " big sorrow in oro"
