Sure, I think you didn't want to suggest that 4 cylinder drivers get threatened by drivers from other divisions coming to race.
I wouldn't worry too much if I was a 4 cylinder driver, who knows their car, and is used to the handling of the car.
I certainly wouldn't want to take out someone elses car, that I didn't know just for that race. Everyone has their likes and dislikes re: handling.
Thunder#6 Thanks have a great night. case closed.
Mike said he would let his dad drive his Mustang on Wed night, what do you think ?
I think mike has the handle just fine on that car there big dog so let him drive it. lol
;D ;D
It doesnt take any more or less skill to drive a 4 cyl than a thunder car. I dont see the issue to be honest. Race cars are race cars, you can only drive any one car to it's limit, no farther.
Are you kidding me!!! ok, well i ran 4 banger for the last 3 years, I ran TC in '98....lap times are similar between the 2 classes from then to know but please tell me that statement was meant to be tongue in cheek! I bought the 3 time championship thunder car from sunset and it came with a brand new W motor and let me tell you! Im surprised that I didnt kill myself on opening night! my reaction time was way out to lunch.....in '98 thunders were 17.1 to 17.4 and today we are turning consistant 16.4 and 16.5's so 7/10's to a half a second faster makes all the difference in the world....i mean really? locked rear end vs. fwd, racing tires vs. radials, and the best of it all.....90-100hp and 25lbs of torque vs. 280hp and a hell of alot more torque! do the math, sit you butt in both and try an keep it outta the wall!
