just playing the numbers game here but I'm going to go on a limb and say Milligan isn't the only one to accomplish this feat!! ( not taking away from anybody) but really how many really fast cars has HOWE (HRE) built!

Ed Howe is pretty much the originator of customer race cars. "the green hornet" was almost unbeatable. He hired a GM engineer to do all the bumpsteer / ackerman calculations long before anyone had heard of that stuff. ( I think 1974 ) and I guarantee every tube clip car you have ever seen was based on his design. As a matter of fact, unless it was his own car, Junior Hanley used to buy them by the truckload and use them on the cars he built. And I'm sure tom wasnt the only person to beat him. But ed howe built some very, very fast cars. By they way, did you know behind Tom Milligans beard, there is only another fist? Wait, that doesnt sound right. ;D
