There is no clear explanation on the Barrie web site. It say,s $500.00 KIng of the hill $1000.00 25 lap Pure Stock,and $1000.00 Charger. if I am to understand it correctly. The word Invitational  does not appear on the posting. CLEAR AS MUD.

That is a good point!!! On the year end Thunder Car race the word Invitational does appear. But cant see how the new owners figured it would fly without it being an invitational. To be honest I was looking forward to seeing possibly three or four of the top Sunset Road Runners come up and give Barrie a try. Has any of the Sunset guys or others actually called the Barrie office to see if it is indeed a open invitational???

The website has been updated. It clearly states 4 cylinder invitational. i see they are determining which cars will run "A" and which cars will run charger by heat finishes. You'd think one would be tempted to sand bag the heats and run away with the charger feature. i wll not be there with a car, my motors in the process of being taken out because its dunzo. I'm not sure if my brother will race. Like Dave said, exams are this week.

I'm still looking for where it says invitational on the Barrie site??? Where did you see that Ben??? I would be guessin to win each division might be in the neighbourhood of 200 bucks but that's just a guess too.  I kinda like the idea of running the heats then splitting into a A division and Charger division. A little mix and match if you will, and some of the Charger guys can run with the Pure Stocks on any given day. And for god's sake you should know Ben A REAL RACER DOESN"T SANDBAG!!!LOL Will be great to see Ricky and Chance returning to their roots and running 4 cyl. as well.
