Any ideas 240 what changes would you make? or what was good this year?
if your paying over 200 your getting riped off.........and i pay 300 for a good tire that makes the car handle and stick to the track than 800 in a motor.......you must be one of the ones that like going through the corners sideways....taking everyone out with you.......
Actually, I won 5 features this season on old used tires as our track has a 200 treadwear rule. My car handles like it is on rails WITHOUT big dollar tires.

That's insane to spend that much on a mini-stock tire!!! The falken Azeni's work very well. Not sure what a fast time at Barrie Speedway in a mini-stock this year but I know I showed up last year with the old Falken 615's(not K's) and was turning times in the 16.8-17.00 range EDIT. When looking at this thread 16.8's is what Murray was turning so I was fast!

With the K's it'd be down to 16.6's I'm sure as everybody who has jumped to the k's noticed atleast 2 tenths difference.
I had never seen Barrie Speedway before, car was not setup for the track and I was able to turn some great lap times because the car turns very well. If you have to spend $300 on a tire to make up for setup problems....FIX YOUR SETUP PROBLEMS so you don't need to spend $300 on a tire.
Make the tire rule a 200 treadwear like everywhere else(cept flamboro who I think is still 300) and I think there will be alot of concerns taken care of.

exactly!! won 3 races and a championship on 200 treadwear tire not because of HP(2nd lowest HP on the track as per DYNO) but because I've set the car up to handle well.
