hey somebody asked at the meeting this past Saturday about the mechanics race being re-scheduled for Sept 18th. Darryl said yeah more then likely and that he would just have to make sure with Andy Wells on it. Does anybody know if this is 100% happening for sure. If so can it be posted on the speedway site. It should definately be run at the end of the night though. Should be crew/mechanics only with the exception of track officials if there are cars that they are able to drive. Current drivers at BSW or any other track should be exempt from this race as it's a fun thing for the crew guys who worked hard all year long.
Also theres an autograph session scheduled. Are we having it at intermission? Would be better to have it then instead of at the beginning of the night. There will be more fans there by that time.
I agree. We need to get this done. At the end of championship night is perfect. Its what we did in snocross and motocross!

They only have 5 laps scgeduled for each of these races. I would think 10 at least would give guys a better chance if they start towards the rear. MAke it a heat race
Also wanted to add that speedway site contradicts the amount of laps the thunders run in the feature. The home page and schedule says 40 laps, and when you click the thing for more detail on the nights schedule it says only 30 laps. I think it's a type-o. anybody know for sure?
