Well last nite was definetly a full schedule with lots to get done. Given that, and some may disagree, some things happening at the track didn't impress me at all. Time to get it together guys. I know its a learning curve for the new owners, and for the most part, great job being done,  but some things just don't sit right...
First of in the Chargers, what was up with the cars being allowed to run with a very large piece of debree on the track, get with it guys, this is dangerous for the drivers. The officials knew it was there, but when it was pointed out by someone, it was, well we will get it when the race is over. The caution should have been called and the debree removed. he attitude was keep the show moving no matter what, that should not be what comes first, keeping the the show moving so that they can get everything in. Safety comes first for our drivers. No matter what division is on that track, every driver safety should come before anything else, including the show.  Then lets see, I know it was a full schedule with the spotlight being on the late models, but to say to your three other divisions, run your feature in X number of minutes or we call it, doesn't seem fair for them. In those last couple of laps a lot can change with respect who will take the checkered. I have seen so much happen in the last lap that changes the whole outcome in a heartbeat. I heard that the attitude is that it's the late models that bring in the fans, not the 4 cyl. or the Thunders. Well I disagree, those other divisions are just a important as the late models. Not every fan in the stands is there for the late models, and don't get me wrong, I take nothing away from them, I love watching them, and I have my favorites.  Many of the drivers in the other divisions came ready for the autograph session, then found out it was for the late models only. The schedule is very confusing. If it was just for the late models, then the information on the schedule needs to reflect that. All it says is " Drivers autograph session"  Again I won't take away from the late models, but I am sure there would have been a lot more fans down on the track had all divisions been involved. Please update the schedule to reflect which division should come prepared for autographs. And what is this, people walking around with beer through the stands. I like a cold beer just as much as the next person, however given that, having beer in the stands is UNDERAGE DRINKING JUST WAITING TO HAPPEN. If you have minors in the stands, the drinking should be kept to an area where it can be regulated properly. Please, don't anyone come on here and tell me it won't happen cause it will. I was underage at one time and it does happen, I raised kids and it does happen. Put the beer back in the beer garden where it belongs, for the safety of all spectators. Oh yea, whats with the gravy and fries. The gravy is like soup, it's suppose to stay on the fries, not on the bottom of the container. I love BSW, I love watching all 4 divisions, but get it together guys or we may start seeing some of our drivers leaving. I have heard that from a few in the pitts, that if things don't change they will leave. The track needs listen to the drivers and the fans both. Fans pay the bills, and drivers bring in the fans. Other then that great racing last nite..........forgot one more point, with a schedule so full last nite, the racing should have started a whole lot earlier... not at the regular time....

Well it was my first trip to Barrie...A LOT of racing....and I LOVE seeing that much racing in 1 night..BUT I don't appreciate getting home at 2:20am  >:(   especially after working all day Friday then going to Kawartha then working all day yesterday and then going to Barrie...I was pooped.    Races started 6:45..should have been about 5:30, even if you didn't have a long drive..to finish at 12:50am is ridiculous.

Never the less the racing was preety good, I'm not going to go into a full review like I did last night at Kawartha because I don't know all the drivers names and what not, but I will say......

#77 won in the Chargers-seemed like a long race for 20 laps, few yellows here and there nothing major.

#4 won in the Pure Stocks-40 laps was to long imo, for a night like this...congrats to one of our own..as Thyane pulled out a 2nd place finish, he got passed by the #4 quickly..but he stuck right on his bumper the rest of the race.

#44 won in the Thunders-A bit of a rough race lotta guys not giving each other much room, and right at the finish...everyone is damn lucky that when Chance got hit he spun down into the grass...because if he spun the other way...it would have been a BIG mess..as the field was stacked up 2-by-2 behind him.

Keith McLeod won the 1st LLM feature, was a preety solid race..had a bit of a pile up on the start..but after that it was "fairly" clean..except for the fact that the race finally got called under yellow...after 3 attempts at a G/W/C and people just thought it would be fun to drive the cars for all they were worth into turn-1 every time... ::)

Dyawne Baker won the 2nd LLM feature, it was all Shepherd & McLeod at the front..untill coming off of turn-4 about half way the the race....McLeod pulled on the inside up to about Shepherd's door...well Shepherd just held him down almost into the grass..and everyone knew what the outcome was going to be into turn-1 and sure enough Shepherd ended up facing the wrong way. Then after what I assume was a discussion between officals they decided to send McLeod to the back, which..IMO was the wrong call, sure he could have backed off seeing that it was only around half-way?...sure you could say that....but Shepherd should have gave him more room...seeing as there was still a half of race to go. The call could have gone either way..but IMO McLeod had the spot and Shepherd just held him down so low that he had no choice, but again I was sitting in turn-4 so I didn't get the best view of it...but that's just what I think. and the end of this race took toooo long...there was at least 4-5 yellows in the last 5 laps....come on guys? get your head's out of your asses....it was all mid-pack people just running into each other...sheesh!.

Some of the calls were a little strange...they penalized one guy in the Pure Stocks..for bringing out a yellow, when he hit the wall pretty damn hard, and rolled to a stop...and then went again, imo that was the wrong call...specially when you have guys in the LLM's just pulling up high and stopping all the time..untill the yellow came out and then continuing on....and I agree about the debrie...I seen some a few times and they didn't stop, it also looked like there was some kind of spill on the front stretch during the TC feature..but I'm not sure what it was.

As for the autograph thing, if your having such a long night...do it BEFORE the races start...and include ALL the drivers, autograph session should have started 4:45-5:30, and start fireing up some cars...that will get people off the track...just annoucing it over and over takes to long(this goes for all tracks..not just Barrie)

anyway, my first trip to Barrie was fun, lotta great racing...real nice track & faclity..I just wish it didn't run so late...but I kinda expected it when I seen how much racing was happing.
