Yes Congratulations to Billy on his Championship!! He had an amazing race yesterday in the feature! I watched how he had tonns of patience, and went through the field awesome to pass. He didn't touch anyone once!!
We are so proud of you Billy! I hope you are getting to enjoy it with your family and friends!
As for protesting, Scooter, I love you to bits and pieces and I know that it is in the rules that you can protest, but imagine if Dave did that last year to Shawn?
As I am reading about the situation this year of Desi leading most of the year or alot of it, then Billy getting it the last weekend or what not, I keep thinking about last year with Dave and Shawn.
They were so tight last year in points and it was crazy! But Dave never ever would have torn down Shawn just because Shawn won it and was fast. We were all so proud of Shawn and Dave. No matter who came out as the champ we all really really idolized them for the respect they showed one another on and off the track. Dave did an INCREDIBLE job last year. Not only did he do so well, but needless to say, with a broken wrist!
And yes, Desi has every right to tear him down, it just seem'd like a bad night to do so because the poor guy couldn't even enjoy his championship. If the shoe were on the other foot, how would they be feeling.
I love everyone that is included in this debate, it's one of those hard deals. But hopefully all will blow over and we can all learn to appreciate everyones hard work and hard racing out there. We are all going for the same thing but let's remember to have fun too...
And congratulations to Desi and Chrissy for being 2 of the top 5 drivers out there this year 🙂 They should be very proud of themselves!! I wish I could have been up there in points as well with them but hey enjoy every min of it girls!!! Way to represent!
