I would rather be torn down at the end of the season then with a week or 2 to go. Sometimes those things dont go back together as well as before or something breaks taking it apart. I saw a challenger team lose a championship because they were torn down with 4 weeks to go and the car ran crap for 2 weeks after till they finally solved the problem. Now he has a championship and all winter to put it back together if he so chooses. If a car is dominating and as fast as i've read, why hadnt the track popped his head off atleast once already? If she has lead the whole season, has her head been checked atleast once? Or do they tech them at all? Do the tech people go thru any Nascar training?

I doubt Desi could have done anything worst then she did coming into a Championship . Saying your going to wreck people and calling your shot when you cant back it up is bad enough but the tearing down of your competitor just to find out he is legal and the crying jag she put on was shameful .

I do understand this was the one shot in her life to win a championship since there is no way she will even be near the front next year but this is a lesson for everyone else in what NOT TO DO .
