I'm personally guessin 18-20 cars, and might even be a stretch getting there unfortunately.. Will still be a good show with that many LLMs on the smaller Barrie track. Keep in mind I'm figuring the 5 Sunset guys I previouslly mentioned all will show up, as well as perhaps 2-3 cars from Sauble/Varney area.. I know one car that was a "for sure" blew up on the Sunday show at Pete so unlikely the 91 of Don Hart will show now..
Maybe I'll be suprised and a few more Sunset guys like Fumerton and Cornelius will show, as I know both have done some year end invy's at BSW in years past but not really banking on them appearing..
I would like to see the 3 Sunset barnstormers in Thunders (Monette, Davey, and Archibald) make an appearance as all 3 have had some moderate sucess at Barrie and would add to the show.. Might even see Herbie in the #88 Camaro..Should be interesting anyways.. Only 9 days away.. 😉
The #8 and #76 LLM from Sauble will be there. Thanks for the invite. The webste says pit gate opens at 3:00 does practice start at 3:00 also? I think we will need all we can get!
That's awesome you and Tyler are both gonna make the call Jason.. As for Barrie practice yes it starts as soon as you get unloaded just after 3 pm.. Mind you it is single car practice until the ambulance shows up (usually 4 or 4:30)..
As for needing lots of practice/set up tips, I'm sure once at the track a few of the guys will help you out.. Or you can just listen to that 76 car, as I mentioned he's always gotten around the Barrie track well.. Although Tyler's last Barrie appearance woulda been 2005 ( think that was the final year of ALSTAR) track hasnt really changed much since except for the widening of turn 4..
Glenn, I understand Dutchman has an extra car in the barn. Maybe you could make a deal with him and team up with John Guant for the night.
word is the extra car is already spoken for
OH??? Who does "word" say has a booking for said ride?? Keith McLeod is my guess but beyond that I have nothing...
