That is awesome news!! I don't even know if I've ever seen Tommy race personally. Perhaps once at Varney a few seasons back for one of their Sunday invi's, but memory kinda fails if Tommy was in attendance that night. Regardless from what I've heard the guy is a class act and hard nosed "balls to the wall" type racer. The Rona Durham #89 sure is a sweet lookin ride though, and he will be a strong addition most definitely.. Thanks for the info KTR!!!

From the sounds of it he's got a real legit shot at comin home a champ down there... Which leads into my next question::: How many if any drivers have captured a LM title at both Delly and Flammy?? Anyone???
None that I know of, unless back in the 80's. There are a handful of drivers who've won CVM titles and a Late Model championship. Jason Shaw, Dan Shirtliff and David. Lee Jerome won a Hobby title back in the early 80's then went to dirt and won a few Mod titles.
I need to hurry to get in that group, but Sunset isn't going to be easy to win a title there, but we'll try again in 2013.
I have been noticing from afar Gary, seems like your finishes are a bit more solid as of late down there, banging off a few top 5s and such in recent weeks.. Your right, a tough bunch of customers down there to compete with and try and top. Good luck the rest of 12 and into 2013.. That said what I'd really like to see is you taking a run at a Barrie championship for 2014 perhaps... ;D ;D
And yes when thinking of a Flammy and Delaware champ the only names that popped into my head were the big ones.. Hanley, Biederman, Scanell, and Monaghan.. But not really my area of expertice to know if any of those drivers ever did it either??? I was pretty young back in their hayday
