Will people with a NASCAR license still get in the pits for $10?
Yes Lil Billy, it would be fairly safe to assume that.. The Nascar licence gets you in for 10 bucks for all events.. Including the NCATS race.. That aside, I am more interested in the Garry Reynolds Memorial.. Last years race was killer, and this years is shaping up to be even better... Sorry Pure Stocks but this is your night off, just for pit pad sake.. Hope you all come out and enjoy...Pretty much the race of the year for LLM's as far as prestige and payout goes... Can anyone knock off Bentley?? Remains to be seen??? How many Sauble cars will show?? While not really knowing them, I would think both Parker and Williams might want to seek a little redemption at Barrie... #1 Dan Wright is also a possibilty from "god"s track" in Bruce County.. Have heard 2011 Fall Colors champ# 22 Chris Mitchell is returning, and possibly #10 Kelly Balson to represent Pete.. For Sunset cars???......... And yes I left them till last....... ;D ;D ;D .. Bentley is coming back to defend, Dario started last year and I am hoping he comes back.. Nice guy, and one of my fav's, dating back to when I was a Sunset guy.. 😉 The ultimate dream for us Barrie fans would be to see "The Iron Man" and "Gentleman of Racing " #36 Gary Elliott make an appearance.. But not knowing Gary if I fell over him, I dont know how realistic that may be.. Regardless, I'm guessin this will be one of the LLM races of the year.. Thunder Car invi to boot??? Sure hope my bud from "downtown" Owen Sound # 00" Smokin" Joe Adams makes it down, and he could drag #8 Matt Mulholland and #36 Kenny Grubb down with him while he's at it!!! 🙂
Current Varney point leader #89 Tommy Robb is also a possibility, along with former Cascar Sportman competitor #11 Cole Weber.. Cant wait to see if the "Durham Boys" do indeed show up.. The intrigue is building!! 😀
And if Barrie Speedway chooses to field a school car??? There is none other than 4 time and defending OSCAAR champ, and two time Barrie LM kingpin #22 Glenn Watson that deserves that ride.. CMON DI MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! 😉 That would surely go a decent way towards packing a grandstand... Would also like to see #83 Ian Bourque in a ride, but that might be "pipe dreaming"...
Dave, Garry Elliot is going to be there!
