Like I said, just letting everyone know what happened. For anyone wondering why it was thrown out, I will try to explain . Upon filling out the protest sheet, there were no $ amounts of what was needed to protest. Since we had no printed version of the rules available, we asked the tech official how much. We provided the requested amount and the track continued with the protest. Upon research it was found that the flywheel is not off a Mustang BUT we were informed the proper $$ had not been put down, resulting in what I already explained in my previous post.
No bashing, trashing, whatever. Just stating facts.
Noone on your team has a phone? Next time use your head and go to the website because it CLEARLY states:
PROTEST FEES
PURE STOCKCrank shaft $350.00
Piston & Rod $300.00
All other $150.00If you're going to protest at least have your shit straight when doing so.
No shit, we know that now. Like we said we asked the tech officials, and provided them with what they said the amount was. This is not a complaint, its simply and explanation because we keep getting asked ! , but thanks for your input.
Yes you should. Know what the protest rules fees regulations are. However, tech doesn't have a rulebook handy? Unless it wasn't properly specified what was up for protest by the competitor when asking tech, this a joke. Tech should take the heat for this one. Pretty embarrassing

Please take a look at the attached video, as I said earlier I always gave everyone a lane at the track. I know I'm not the greatest driver on the planet or at Barrie Speedway we were to have a good time and fulfill a promise to a friend.
But it seems to be CLEAR as a bell that a) I gave the low line, b) there is no flat tire before the hit, c) there doesn't seem to be much effort in one of us to turn LEFT! d) from the flash from the tail pipe it appears that there was power being applied again.
So I guess you're right, another fine example of a spectacle! And I guess if being wrecked is trying to be the centre of attention then I AM GUILTY!
