Sauble for me I think!!! LLM 100 lapper and the TQ Midgets!!! Have never seen the vast majority of the Sauble LLM race and they have some strong runners. Plus I think a few Barrie LLM will be going, and Sauble has beer in the grandstands!!!LOL

Also heard through the grapevine that several of the lates from Barrie will be making the trek to Sunset that day as they like what the new management group is doing. Should be an awsome show.

You could quite possibly see the 69 of Inglis and perhaps the 10 of Shepherd and 88 of Mathews, but beyond that I dont really know.. Gordie got torn up pretty good in his last two visits to Sunset, and funds are low from all accouts so dont know if he'll want to go through that rigga ma roll again.. I'm personally gonna try to convince some of the guys Sauble is where its at that night. ( Better payouts and more laps) and not really much further to haul for some..

Dave,
Like I said before you have a hugh axe to grind for Sunset to say Sauble is a similar distance is laughable let's see 15-30 minutes to 2 hours plus. Factor in the extra 25 laps the purses are quite equal and I am sure many of your Barrie drivers will be attending from the other 2 divisions especially for the Belesky vs Walters grudge match anyway have a great time at Sauble where the car count in my opinion will be questionable.

You misunderstood me yet again Brian!!!! I said Sauble was a similiar distance for some ( Watson and Baker) living in Stayner.. I would say its 45-50 minutes with car hauler to Stroud compared to maybe an hour and a half to Sauble.. and like I said some might go and camp up there and make it an overnighter, and check out the payouts at Sauble.. 1500 to win and 200 for 24th.. Add in heat races pay 100, 75, 50 for 1st-3rd. And I think you'll see at least those two cars go up there and possibly more if I can work my magic..And I'm sure Sunset will get a nice turn out of Barrie Thunders that day and possibly 4 bangers (although some might shy away too cause its hard for the Barrie cars to compete with the 16V)  I never debated that point.. And no axe to grind here as I was never employed at Sunset, so I have no idea what your meaning.. Sure my Dad was treated pretty unfairly down there in my own opinion after being there since day 1, but he didnt let it bother him so why should I?? Not saying Sunset will get any of my hard earned dollars anytime soon but thats a whole different animal!!!LOL

Why would you try to convince the Barrie guys to go to sauble. Are they not big enough to make up their own minds. With the laps being run ,to what is being paid out its pretty good. Inglis ran a super race the last time he was at sunset earlier this year and could easily have won if not for a lapped car. Im pretty sure Shepherd had a tranny problem or if im not mistaken he was spun by another car near the end of the race. Im also pretty sure he won a big invitational at sunset last year. Earlier this year at sunset i did get a chance to meet keith mccloud as i think he was driving his brothers car from barrie and he did say that the next opportunity he had to run at sunset that he would be there with his own car. Plus i wouldnt be suprised if Keith Maioto and Ron Quenelle didnt show up as well as they both seem to have their cars figured out. Im also pretty sure that it would make way more sense[common sense i might add] for any of these guys to make the haul to sunset as it is in their back yard rather than haul 2-3 hours north.

Well to answer your question I would try and convince them to run Sauble cause thats where I'm going, and I would like to see as many cars as possible from my hometrack to root for.. Makes sense (common sense I might add to me).. And sure their big enough to make up their own minds but it doesnt hurt to ask and try to convince either.. What's it to you anyways TOWER??? Lookin for another 60 day blkflag???LOL I also think the Barrie guys might enjoy Sauble and do well up there, as the configuration is pretty similiar to the old Barrie track. I have my doubts you'll see Keith with him leading the Barrie points but have no idea really, he doesnt seem to travel much in the past and they just put the crate from Rod's car back in the #19. He might show up in the 79 again with the Dodge motor, I dont really know.. No idea on Maiato, and I'm pretty sure Quesnelle is on a fishing trip this week , so he might want some family time after racing Barrie Sat.. Again I dont know..
