You talk at Willie being the only drive at KD to stay dont quote me but hasnt Andy Ford raced there since like early 2000. You dont have to run a floater and a standard to win. I believe Lane Zardo at sunset won the point championship in a automatic and a stock 8.5 inch. If you spent more time doing research and working on your car then on here complaining you would be able to keep up with the front runners.
he won in a 8.5 rear end which came stock in a chevelle chassis which the 46 car is. It has a monte body on it.
i feel i need to clarify something here! i did indeed win a championship with a 1500 dollar motor, no lies. rob did the best with what i gave him and could afford, which he does for everybody!!! on the other hand, it could have been a hand grenade and did 5 laps thats the chance i took. i won't take that chance again because i can afford a little more now. it worked, gord shepherd won the championship a few years back with a bone stock cube van 350. sometimes you hit, sometimes you miss. i'm not naive enough to think i can keep doing that, unfortunately everybody spends more every year and if i don't follow i will be the poor lapped car. i wish we had seen this coming 5 years ago and stopped it, i'm just as guilty for wanting more and shooting myself in the foot. lets try to keep things the same now and save what we can of the best class in ontario! we'll never go backwards but we can stop advancing!

im sorry, but yetti you gotta lay off a bit....as the polish prince said we cant go back, just stop the advancment..... so seriously back it down abit..... as i said before this was about barrie speedways rules meeting.....if you were at the meeting you could have exspressed you interests there, you have come on here and mocked a bunch of guys...some of them you dont realize know more then you think i know bfc will be faster then you think........ my dad and i showed up with his new car last spring and we figure it was decent enough, well we found out it wasnt quite right to say the least we were embarassed, we thought we had "lost it", we couldnt drive or something..i mean we were going laps down..my dad and i arnt that bad of drivers so we worked our tails off with some help from some friends found many many things wrong with the car, everything from a crappy lr spring to replacing the carb to getting the frame striaghtend....lots of money spent and a few missed nights and the car became decent enough to drive....we had 1 decent run where the car was good....and the motor blew....so my dad sprung for a new short block....and he got to race it one last time at the end of the summer.we will be returning with his car and im building a mini stock...its what i can afford to run..i rather be in a thunder and getting race against my dad but it wont happen..........so unless your coming to barrie speedway to race whatever car you got and work on it.....dont come here and blast guys......make your own topic and mouth off over there...... and BFC i still dont like the 2-ways....it is an advantage to having someone help you thru the traffic....or why else would you want them?? either way my dad said i cant be his spotter, he thinks we will fight.....lol
